What a great day to serve the Lord! Glad to be serving the King of Kings. It was exciting to be on the bus route this morning. Many of the teens have been faithful throughout the entire summer. Praise the Lord!
John Narag and I had the privilege to lead the daughter of one of my moms on my bus route, today. God is good. We spent alot of time promoting our Vacation Bible School, with great results.
We had an encouraging time at our bi-monthly missions meeting at John Knox Memorial Park (Keller Beach). There was lots of good food, fellowship, and a mean game of soccer. Of the which I scored two goals. Glad to be apart of an encouraging church.

Great post! How about some, "How to be a great youth director" posts? If you write them, I will send a link to the post out to over 5,000 twitter users and I know that many of them are youth pastors. I know that I would personally love to read some hands on tips from a good youth director and / or youth director's wife (Come on Helen, aren't you an English major?...where are the "How to be a great youth director's wife" articles?) and I'm sure that others would also appreciate any advice you might be able to share! I am very excited to find that you have this blog, keep it going and please provide some youth pastor insights for us newbies!!!
